Healthy Dining is growing its impact by partnering with healthcare and 5Ws (Wellness, Worksites, Weight loss, Wearables and Warriors) to provide mobile/digital dining out tools and resources to ultimately transform EATING as the prevention and prescription of our nation’s devastating health issues such as obesity, heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
Healthy Dining has received $4.5M in funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) through the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Program to develop and evaluate its innovative programs and technologies. Designed to impact the nation’s most urgent public health priorities, and backed by NIH science-based standards, the solutions are specifically focused on bringing positive health-related environmental and consumer change through the restaurant and food industries.
